On-device voices run on your phone and work offline, with no usage limit. Standard cloud voices use lower-cost speech models and need an internet connection. Premium voices are the most natural, from ElevenLabs. Prices are in US dollars. The times on each card are the monthly text-to-speech allowance. Each plan also has a smaller daily cap. The Free card states that cap. One account works on iPhone, iPad, Android and the web. Paid plans renew until you cancel. You manage, change or cancel a plan where you bought it. Buy a plan in the web app (Settings, then Plans and billing) or in the iPhone app through Apple. Either way, it works on every SpeakTrue app when you sign in with the same account. Where can I download SpeakTrue?
SpeakTrue is available now on the web at web.speaktrue.cc and on the App Store for iOS. Android support is coming soon.
Do I need an internet connection?
Hosted speech tools and account sync need an internet connection. Optional Local TTS uses downloaded models on supported devices; availability depends on your device and model.
Can I create a personal voice?
Guided recording scripts help you prepare voice samples. Use your own voice or one you have permission to use. Samples for hosted voice cloning are sent to ElevenLabs to create the cloned voice.
What powers the speech features?
ElevenLabs is the default provider for hosted speech generation, transcription, and speech-to-speech. If you select Standard for a speech feature, where your app version offers it, the text or audio for that feature is sent to DeepInfra, Inworld or OpenRouter instead, depending on the model you select.
Is SpeakTrue free to use?
Yes. You can use SpeakTrue today on the Free plan. Cloud speech has a daily cap and a monthly cap, so it is not unlimited. Paid plans are on sale in the web app. The Free plan stays. See the plans. See the EULA/Terms of Use for the current service terms.
